They don't limit you or really pay much attention to that score unless you claim a 2 or higher in an SCNL or CNL. If you don't pass, then you will have to wait six months before trying again. I'm in the process myself, albeit very early on. I registered for the test, and listed that I speak a critical needs language at S1, but now I feel, after more studying, that I am at S2. Will they allow me to try for the bonus after/if I pass the oral assessment even though I originally listed I was only at level S1? Any light you can shed would be greatly appreciated. Love the blog. I am going to take the FSOT in a few weeks. I am signed up for a SCNL though, and wanted to know if you could give a general description of what that test is like. I know there's an NDA, so if you can't give anything out that's fine.
