I, too, have a small, stupid, credit issue in my past. It might be a little more recent than yours. Do they take the whole person into account, or does one little ding (late on some payments for my student loan) on your financial history count you out? I will definitely be writing a letter of explanation, as you have done.

Thanks for any comments, and for your wonderful documentation of the process. Congratulations on making the register!

Reading your blog is great, but in person stories are so much better. Can we plan a bike ride/picnic some time soon? This weekend is packed with engagement parties and father day festivities. How about next Tuesday?

Great advice. Best of luck on the clearance (I'm sure you won't need it, though)! My wife and I just took the FSOT on Friday and are cautiously optimistic (although if we fail, there's always next year).

I've really enjoyed your writing and hope you'll be able to continue it frequently at A-100 and once you begin your FS career.

Again, best of luck!
