Security Clearance Update

Oh my goodness! Two days, two updates!

I thought I’d post a little update about my security clearance, or current lack thereof. On June 16 I sent an email to diplomatic security asking for an update on my case. On June 21 I got the following email:

Your case is pending investigations. Our original target date was 6/12/2009, however, it may take another 2 weeks, at least, as we are awaiting final information to come in.

Ah well, I’ll just email them again at the end of next week and see what’s going on.

    I emailed them again last week. The verdict? You guessed it! I’m still ‘pending investigations’!

    Did you ever clear security? I was just informed that everything cleared and I was on the list as an economic officer. We’ll see what happens next (if anything) :)

    I just found out today that I got my TS on November 9th!

    CONGRATULATIONS!!

    Just read the first lines of a message from Chad saying that your clearnace finally came thru.
    Will have to read the “rest of the story” later as I’m headed to work at the church.
